When to Refer

  • Presence of risk factors - Neurological or neurodevelopmental conditions 

  • Acquired or traumatic brain injury

  • Suspected or diagnosed CVI​
    -     concerns after completing CVI Screening Questionnaires

  • Unexplained visual concerns despite normal eye exam
    - Visual fatigue, inefficiency, or difficulty coping with visual environments

    (including joint sessions with other professionals where appropriate)    ​

  • Individualised Goals – Focused on the person’s interests and daily life.

  • Practical Family Strategies – Tips and activities you can use right away.

  • Collaborative Support – Working with families, teachers, and allied health to make strategies stick across home, school, and community.
